That's what excites me Lachlan, all of the youngsters being considered to play league footy for us very early in the season, and all of those being considered worthy one's at that.

Nelson was one of my favorites last year. The effort he puts in is total.
I know where his critics are coming from: his rucking skills are strangely missing. I often wondered if MM, as one of the best in the business, hasn't helped him out there. Maybe its a "natural' gift that can't be taught. As a forward in my day I only ever attempted rucking twice. You kind of need eyes in the back of your head.
As a supporter, I appreciate Nelson's endeavor around the ground. Seen him provide run though center and from memory, is quite an accurate kick. Some great marks, though perhaps not as frequent as we would like, I can't remember him being out-marked that often either.
I believe Nelson not being in the senior side today is probably correct, and shows the strength and depth of the team this year. Its great to know he's there at the club.
I'm a big Nelson fan.
