Trial game Glenelg.

A hot day, but a win, 10.10 to 10.6.

I think we kicked the last 3 goals to get up.

The good:

A win, but not aware of the strength of the Glenelg side.

Ned Stevens is already  good, but will be a star.

Josh Ryan was probably our best.  Our on ball group is pretty good - Stevens, Frost, Searle all good, although Searle's disposal was poor at times. I was told that Kobe Ryan dominated in the 2s.

Promising signs from some lesser lights.

We have a real crack


The Not so good:

We have a ruck problem. Corbett rucked, looked to have done a calf.  Bramich rucked for a short time, alwaus does well, but naturally looks underdone. Ellem rucked the last quarter or so.

Reserves beaten comfortably.

Hot day, but barely 200 there.

Now to the season, but full marks to Adam Hartlett.  LSo many injuries, but he gets the best out of the team.

I agree with your post. Hartlett can coach that’s for sure.

Frost very good for 3 qrts, went to half back after half time and Morrish played through the midfield.

Joel Stevens played most of the game at half forward.

Bramich started at full forward and then went into the Ruck at the 20 minute mark of qrts until Corbett was injured.

Jordan White kicked a nice goal in the 2nd qrt.

Patton got better and better as the game went on.

Josh Ryan very good, he needs help though, badly need to find another key defender. We will have to wait until next year before that happens.
