Re: West v Adelaide
I would love to see Bramich playing as a classic full-forward, making leads and competing exclusively inside 50. I'd also really like to see Callum Park playing on the ball, feeding Bramich with that raking left foot.

We haven't had a Reserves Match report since Round 6. We get one this week but it's from the Football Manager, who appears to have coached the side. It'd be nice to know what's going on at our club.

Re: West v Adelaide
After reading the weekly newsletter, I found out that our leading goal kicker this year with 2 games to go is Ned Stevens with a whopping 14 goals.
That is an average of less than a goal a game.
No wonder we can’t score!!!
That is extraordinary.

Here we go:
N. Stevens, 14
K. Ryan & L. Redfern, 12
I Johnson, H. Ellem & J. Gore, 11
J. Sinderberry, M. Laudato, 10
Of these players, only J. Gore (with 11 goals in 8 games) has an average of more than a goal a game.

Saw that, too.
Just this week or not?
Being told wouldn't go astray.

Re: West v Adelaide
Gore is probably our only gun forward but think he has more to give , Delahunty may be good with more supply. Ellem , N Stevens are good utility players while McCormick is really a mid. Corbett may be OK for 30 if he was allowed to stay forward all season

Re: West v Adelaide
What this lack of goalscoring highlights is the way the ball comes into the forward line. The few times we bring the ball in quick more often than not results in a score, but most times out of the centre it's slow movement with short sideways kicks allowing the opposition defence to set up and then the ball comes in with a haphazard kick with the forwards under pressure. I sometimes get the impression some players are playing for stats rather than the benefit of the team.

I don't think that's the whole story. We often get the ball in quickly but 1) None of our tall forwards can mark it; 2) we kick it to small forwards who aren't going to win it in the air; 3) we don't have enough players forward of the ball and so are outnumbered; 4) we kick it to the opposition.
