Foxtel Cup

Rubbers may prove to be right by beating CDFC this week and I guess now the emotion has died down, this is THE GAME we have to win if we had to chose between the matches this week

Williamstown coached by Andy Collins took out this years Foxtel cup by thrashing West Perth 10-11 to 1-2

I can't believe we had the most dominate coach in foxtel cup history for the last 200 years and we let him go. What the hell is the board doing.

Yes, that's the coach you didn't like, amazing that.

But he loves him now,goes to show how bad Mr Clayton is.

You mean the Mr Clayton who has beaten the top two teams in the last few weeks, Bundy?

I love the new coach. He now has a new game plan based on all out attack. The defensive crap is gone. Long live kicking it towards the goals.

Yes.  The games where we win, he uses that game plan.

Several times though, he's said to the players "Boys, I know we win when we attack, but today we're going to go defensive.  I know we lose when we do that, but Second Team and Bundy will have nothing to whinge about if we win all the time".

Andrew Collins was the same.  Last year when we kicked twenty goals in a game, he gave the players a total dressing down after the game. "Not good enough", he thundered, "you'll ruin my reputation as a defensive coach! If you keep playing like that, you'll make the top three again.  I won't have it!!! "

In other news, Collins Defence Equipment Ltd has opened on the Stock Exchange with a $200,000 float from Foxtel Ltd.  Shares in Bundy futures dropped on a negative outlook for the company which issued a pessimistic forecast for the next year. " I can see our share price losing 123 points next week", the chairman said.

In better news, shares in Second Team SHOCK emoticons trebled.  The Company Chairman issued a statement      which promised all out attack on their takeover opponents,       who immediately went on the defensive.

Redandblack Toilet Cleaners Ltd issued no statement, but informed sources believed they were rallying around the besieged Clayton's Coaches Ltd group.

I also spoke to him today and congratulated him.    

I asked if he could send some more short kicking defenders to us.

(That's players who kick short distances, not short players who kick).  

He is one of the most enthusiastic coaches when you get him talking footy - infectious.!
