We're due for a win, and we're overdue to beat this mob. And we need to put some distance between us and 10th spot on the ladder.
Finals are pretty much out of the question so I think we can also afford to have a look at a couple of new players. I'd bring Thackeray, Obst and Couroupis in for Kennedy, Redfern and Nicholls. And I'd line up like this:

It’s hard to believe that Couroupis was training with Richmond a couple of years ago trying to get a spot on their list.

Now he can’t even make our League Team.

I think Selection at times this year has been baffling.

All three. Shocking standard all round.

3/4 time. Thankfully we have improved. The umpiring and the commentary haven't. We are getting slaughtered by the umpires, especially the grey-haired one.

the umps were shocking and we got absolutely screwed by them, especially the grey haired one. The standard of everything really makes the comp seem pretty Mickey Mouse these days.

If we had 4 more quality players we would have won a few more than we have.

Their talls beat us hands down.
Our Key Position Stocks are woeful throughout the club.
Josh Ryan is our only tall who is of SANFL Standard.

We MUST recruit a Ruckman and 2 Quality Key Position Players if we want to move forward.

The other major area of concern is our lack forward entries it has been a problem all year and you can’t win games like that.

Centrals should have been 6 goals up at half time but as poor as our first half was, if we'd had Bramich I think we would have won this one too. Smashed in ruck (though Stevens did better than Ellem) and in clearances, and killed in the air. It was the worst effort our defence has put up all season. So many times multiple Centrals players flew for a mark without one opponent. Maybe time for Sherlock to get another run.
A lot of players made no real contribution - I thought we looked heavy-legged right from the start, and had no zip. Maybe the conditions contributed to that. But when Joel Stevens went onto the ball in the 3rd quarter I thought he sparked our comeback.
Kobe Ryan our best for mine - he gets pummelled all game, with no protection from the umps, and keeps getting up and going again. Mattingly also worked hard, Bock seemed to keep Hoskin quiet and Steele deserves a mention for 4 goals.
We should be making an official complaint about that umpire. His biased decision making needs explanation.
