Surprise surprise!!

Zac Bates now turns up in a 2021 Adelaide Football Club team poster today in the Advertiser looking overweight & the only player with his boot laces undone (sloppy). I didn’t think he wanted to play football anymore. Another lad who we invested an incredible amount of time & money into and got very little in return.
Hope he performs the same for them as he did for us.

Curious - I saw him listed with Glenelg in one of their trials. Maybe didn't impress. Making up numbers at the Crows?

Please ignore previous post. Zac was listed as a coming for the Crows 3+ weeks ago, transferring from Payneham NU. I saw this and somehow got it into my head that he was going to Glenelg, possibly mixing Zac up with Jack Yates, the result of either poor eyesight or the early onset of senility.

Good luck to him, he's a past player.

We had two Under 18 premiership players against us yesterday.

I personally have no issues with Zac as i knew well in advance from a personal discussion the reasons he did not play on with Westies and for the record i gave him my personal support ---- the fact that he is making some money from the Crows but more importantly is still achieving what he wants from life is great --- good luck to him as he is happy and that is what i want.
