Recruiting for 2020 Empty Recruiting for 2020

What type of players do we need to Recruit for 2020

1. Key Forward- With Middleton moving we need to find a Key marking forward. It’s an area we have been deficient in for far to long.

2. Ruckman/Forward- Currently Parella is the only Ruckman at the club he’s gifted games even if his form doesn’t warrant selection.

3. Key Position - A strong Key Position Player. It’s another Area we lack depth in, he could be our swingman.

4. 2 Quality Midfielders to replace Snelling and Noble.

5. 2 more midfielders that are project players, once again it’s an area we lack depth in.

6. An experienced small forward who can kick goals. We haven’t found a replacement for Fielke or Green since their retirement.

7. A small defender that can run and use the ball. He will replace Dunkin who should be rookied.

That’s a total of 9 Quality Players that need to be recruited to the club.

I hope our Football Director Graeme Barton is heavily involved in this process.

Who ever is the coach for 2020 he needs to have a competitive side on the field every week.

We have been the LAUGHING STOCK of the SANFL for the past 4 years. It’s time this Footy Club concentrated on its on field Performance as its members and supporters are demanding a SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT in 2020.

A restricted salary cap is enough of a handicap, but our miserable on field results since 2015 must make it more difficult to recruit players AND if it continues retaining members might also become an issue. What precisely is being done to reverse this unnacceptable situation? We have been given very little information other than the non specific statements in the President's Message to members. I'm sure that all members/supporters would appreciate reading a report from our Football Director
