Geat result Bloods and looks like some headaches for Gav and the selectors next week. Gibson Turner is elusive and a live wire in front of goals and puts is hand up for selection. No doubt he will get better with match fitness but looks ready to go. Hupfield looked settled in the backline and continually drove us forward and looks a good addition for the call up into our back six. A good solid effort from all the boys and looks like we have some depth.

Gibson Turner (Gibbo) kicked 6 goals + 5 behinds, should have had 8 goals, but does look exciting to watch.

Accept only reserves and ordinary team but this kid has some serious footy smarts and he is quick off the mark

Can Port bounce back from their 23 goal loss against us last week and get the margin under 20 goals against us this week?

Re: Reserves are playing this week
Last weeks reserves team had heaps of league standard player -- would possibly go close to best alltime reserves team
This weeks league selection will have huge impact on reserves --- nice to be getting players back for allround strength

Re: Reserves are playing this week
Yes it is strange that we play Port twice in the Reserves in two weeks, however it will happen again later in the year.
We play Glenelg in the reserves on 29th July and then again on the 10th August.
I assume it would be to do with the Byes the Reserves get when we play the Crows.
I wonder what will happen if Port were to ever withdraw their Reserves side.
There could be Four byes, or the alternative would it be that the League and Reserves sides would play at different venues, or Reserves play stand alone games.
