Cyclethon

The Westies' Cyclethon is on soon, November 30th, as shown on the club website.
We're looking for several volunteers to help on the day, possibly as marshalls to help the riders at stations along the route.
I'll put up more details tomorrow, but if anyone can help, please PM me or reply on this thread.

Urgent Volunteers required PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!
We are still seeking volunteers for the “Ride for the Bloods Cyclethon” on Sunday November 30.
We need 16 in total & we only have 8 kind people at this stage. For those who volunteer there will be a briefing on Wednesday November 26 @ 5pm in the Westonians room if you can make it.
This fund raising initiative is critical as one of many events the club has planned and to make it a success WE NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE.
It is not a big commitment or very onerous task but all we ask for is about 3-4hrs of your time to be a Safety Marshall at a given point on the 20Km Cyclethon route. All you need to do is direct the riders to their next point on the route and police the safety of road crossings where necessary.
You simply need a hat, a chair & a drink and we will really appreciate your help. You will be provided with a route map with your location & fluoro safety vest.
In return you are invited after the event to join in the free Sausage sizzle and a free drink PLUS you will be automatically included in the lucky draw for one of three great prizes: An Executive Office Chair or a JBL Sound System (both valued at $500) or a brand new children’s bike.
As valued members of this forum you want us to act & now we need your help. Please support your club and your 2015 footy team.
This is a compulsory training session for the League squad so you can mingle and mix with the players after the ride and meet some of the new recruits.

Just wanted to say I really enjoyed the day at the Cyclethon today , it was great to see the players and all others involved with making it a fun time 😀
