Great intensity and effort on Friday night. That level of application would have seen us with at least 2 wins this year.
The loser of this week's game will not only lose the 2 points but also a lot of hope for the rest of the season.

Could not agree more. This is probably going to be the most crucial game of the season for us. It is a chance to chalk up consecutive wins and build some momentum before we play some of the better teams in the competition. (Rounds 6&7 see us play last year's grand finalists) A loss this week at home (particularly a bad loss) would call into question the quality of our win over Norwood. After all, North beat Norwood by 92 pts at the Parade. Centrals will be desperate for a win, so it will be a really good test for us.

And having made more than three quarters of a million dollars profit last year, I think it's time to spend a few bucks on the lighting. It really is sub-standard, commentators mention it often.

You may be right blacky but we could surely offer to make a contribution.

The lights are ours and at our cost.

We were still paying them off a couple of years ago, (council has helped).

They've never been up to the required standard, but they're not cheap.
