Re: New Coach
Very pleased with this appointment and am looking forward to the start of preseason.
Another significant step towards ultimate success with a couple more to go eg
Sucessfull recruiting (progressing nicely)
Accurate goal kicking (cue Lee Haradine)

Re: New Coach
Congratulations to Colville on his appointment. He obviously did a very good job with the Development side this year and he deserves the opportunity to Coach at league level.
Recruiting is going to be very important for Gavin Colville as he starts his Senior Coaching career.

Re: New Coach
A good appointment by the Board.
Gavin will do well provided we get a few recruits that can play at league level straight away.
We have a reasonable squad but need a bit of luck in the injury department next year.

Re: New Coach
Congrats Gav and a great appointment by the board. Gav has earned his stripes and had outstanding success in bringing the Ressies togther as a tight nit team last season. His energy and passion along with his knowledge of the game will be bring results nest season as th club steps up. Younger players will flourish with his ability to nurture talent and I for one can't wait for the season ahead. With some solid recruiting added to our playing list and the continued development of our younger players in the wings, a new coach at the helm ........it's onwards and upwards. Go Bloods!!

Re: New Coach
I get the feeling from that article that the new coach is not going to put up with much rubbish.
What I'm looking forward to hearing is not so much that player X ran such and such a time for the 3k time trial, but that player x (and several other letters) is now kicking the footy straighter and longer than before.

Re: New Coach
I think you are spot on aldo --- what i seen of him last year is he is demanding but not unfair in demanding players to do basics properly further i believe he is very strong on player participating within the preseason onfield activities rather than being within the rooms and not achieving any fitness levels hence not ready for round one.
