Re: Recruiting for 2018
How can a club - PORT - be allowed to pinch players from other clubs including Snelling, Eddy, Lienert and Irra and then have players like Sharrad and Gray spend the year in the reserves.
By the way, Sharrad won the Reserves Magarey Medal and Gray was second.
Where is the integrity in this Competition???

Certainly would for Beech and Snelling, not sure about Lobbe, possibly so.
Jono and Will are playing very good footy right now, so hopefully they'll retain their spots.

thanks mate ---- agreed i would be very devastated if either were delisted
I am pleased with the existing players announced so far who have signed on for next year, very proactive feeling for me in regards to clubs approach to recruiting

I'd get over my devastation if they then signed with us. I'd be surprised if they kept Beech.

Jarred Jansen and Jonathon Freeman two Brisbane players worth looking at.
Jansen a good midfielder who I am surprised was delisted
Freeman a tall young forward

Re: Recruiting for 2018
We certainly need midfielders, especially ones who work inside and this young kid seems to do that.
To be successful next year we need to recruit very well, hopefully a couple of experienced midfielders can be added along with some quality Key Position Players.

Played in the 2015 prelim and hasn't been seen since.
Was touted as an AFL draftee 2 years ago....

Was actually thinking the same thing the other day.
I know he had back issues which stopped him from playing last year but haven't heard anything else.
Very impressed with our early recruiting so far and have no doubt we are heading down the right track.

Re: Recruiting for 2018
I have to agree in regards to our early recruiting. Really seems the club has been a lot more pro active in this area this year. With a few ex Bloods players a chance of being delisted this year it would be great if we could recruit a couple of them back to the club. Beech and Snelling possibly?

Re: Recruiting for 2018
Heard a whisper that WAFC have the Riverland Footy League leading goal kicker for this year on the radar. Anyone heard this? By all reports he's a quality forward. Kicked ave of 7 every game.

AFL National draft 24 Nov
Pre-season and Rookie draft 27 Nov.
Crows need to create some space before these dates. Their list is pretty full at this point. S Thompson, C Cameron and H Wigg gone. Will await any future delistings with interest.
Power delisted a few yesterday (including Brett Eddy).

Re: Recruiting for 2018
I definitely hope we are talking to the leading goalkicker in the Riverland.
I would also like to think we are talking to a number of key position players that have been delisted by their AFL Clubs.
