raffle tickets at game

Did the winner of he raffle get announced at the footy? I bought a few as I usually do at westies and got my ticket no's by sms which is fine. But that was the last I heard of it . No winning number announced or winner nothing....or did I miss it. Do they only notify the winner perhaps? If that is the case then I will give it a miss in future. Can you imagine the opportunity for corruption?? sell tickets sms numbers then walk away. No one knows the difference.
I'm not saying that is what happened yesterday just asking the question,because I reckon this is not the first time this has happened either. ( the other time was not at footy )

The winning ticket was AC00697. I believe the winner is contacted by the sellers. Rob Kerin won one week I believe.

Well I'm sorry but I won't be buying anymore until this is rectified. The way this is set up there is no scrutiny or transparency what so ever. We just trust that everything is all above board. When the bloke sold me the tickets he mentioned that the sms via phone is the way to go. I'm sure it is for whoever is running it. No chance of being audited as no one knows how many tickets were ever sold and what the winning no was,no announcement nothing. Just you will be advised if you win it? The possibilities for corruption are limitless. Sell say 463 tickets and the winner is........482. Who would know? At least the old paper ticket usually required 2 or 3 people to draw it then it would be announced and the winner advised where to collect their prize. Sure that could be rigged too but much less likely. I'm afraid this is one piece of technology I am having nothing to do with.
