Lovely to see so many past players in the Grand Final week.

Apart from the wonderful legends and past players we see fairly regularly, others made the trip to Adelaide to share the day.

I chatted to Adam Hooper at training, as well as Darren Carlson, Michael Kennedy and Tim Symes and saw several others on game day, including Robbie McKinnon.

Had a phone call with Bradley Hoye, who also said John O'Donohue would have been watching as well.

Saw Peter Walsh and Luke Donaldson wander through on Sunday night. Hamish Hartlett was there as well obviously.

Peter Winter and Roger Luders at the Chimney Ceremony on Tursday.

Greg Mellor was there as well. had a chat with him. has one more year at Richmond

Nat Caruso and Ryan Ferguson flew over from Melbourne.

Saw Chris Chubb and Chris Barrett at the after party.

Peter Meuret was there Sunday night, as was Tony Modra.

Yep, met the great one in Tony Modra after the game...he had a good laugh at our bus in which we transported our gear to the game, he laughed even harder when i told him he was looking at the best part, it's worse on the other side.

To add to the memories of '83, stimulated by the presence of some of that team, and what it means to be premiers once again after 32 years, perhaps the significance of the win could be further intrenched into the players by mentioning that soon after the '83 win, we got the latest mac computer. It was a IIe with a super fast CPU of 1MHz, and a massive 64K of memory.
