Several of our better Under 18 premiership players are also training.

It's interesting that, of our losses, Ben Fisher was the only player to play the majority of the season (I think)?

Based on this notice I am guessing we will not be a threat of breaching the salary cap in 2015!!!

Fisher may have been the only out to play most of the season BUT most of the other outs would have been in the starting 18 in 2015.

Thanks for the update. Lee in his post has stated there our a number of new players on the training track so let's hope there are some good players among them

The West Adelaide Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of 2 players. Errin Wasley-Black and Ben Klemke.

Errin is a left footed wingman/ defender at 190 cm and 85 kgs who is from Alice Springs who he played for the Rovers. Errin played in the NEAFL for NT Thunder and for Southern Districts in the NTFL in 2014 . Errin has had previous interest from AFL clubs and was part of the national combine in 2013. He is mates with Lochie Dodds Watson and Graeme Hampton who played in our under 18 side last season. Errin is keen to play consistent league football for West Adelaide and still has the dream to be drafted in the future. His polished left foot kick is certainly going to be a bonus for the bloods in 2015.

Ben Klemke has also previously played in the NEAFL with the Queanbeyan Tigers. Ben is good mates with 2014 recruit Kaine Stevens and is looking forward to playing with his mate again. Ben last season was a coach for the Wodonga Rovers in the Ovens and Murray Football League in Victoria. While in Queanbeyan Ben was fortunate enough to make the NSW/ACT under 21 side. Ben played in the TAC Cup for the Murray Bushrangers. Ben Klemke 192 cm and 92 kg can play in a key position either up forward or down back. Ben is going to be a valuable acquisition to the West Adelaide Football Club.

Hopefully Nelson playes reserves all year and we go with williets and webby combo after how nelson continues to get man handed.

It seems to me that if West spent some time at training teaching Nelson ruck techniques then we could have a good first ruck and two key position players.

yeah very true second team. I will give nelson one thing, last years foxtel cup game at Adelaide oval, he showed glimpse of improvement and was in my opinion our best on ground in that losing game.

But the big problem in my eyes is we never get first uses of the ball when he is our number one rack. he does not jump well and never seems to tap the ball to our favor. our mid field needs first uses of the ball and when they do have it, they look unstoppable.

I just want to see improvement from him. play him in the B's, Make him earn his spot.

The "Big" question is which players from our squad fit together as a team(Best for there position) and not just on there ability. A Team will beat a team of champions any day of the week.
