I hope to see Josh Gore, Clayton Gay and Blair Rubock elevated from reserves to the league team for the next game.

Keough, Hartlett and 2 or 3 others to come back in will hopefully make some difference.

Seemed like our midfield was towelling up a bit. More body and speed needed.

Carmichael and Gay are definitely league standard after watching them yesterday in the reserves both players very well balanced and know where the goals are !!! All I am going to say about yesterday’s league trial Keough and Hartlett were massive outs for us and would make a significant difference if playing and I’d like us to kick the ball a lot more rather than handball to someone in trouble. We got to learn to stop playing panicking football!!!

Our midfield yesterday was smashed, we were beaten at the stoppages and Norwood’s spread from the contest was much quicker than ours. We badly lack pace through the midfield.
The other thing that was noticeable was our slow ball movement, we didn’t take the game on at all.
We had 3 marking targets up forward and didn’t get the ball in there quicker enough.

In the ressies Josh Carmichael was a standout a couple of his goals were fantastic.
He looks every bit a league player and he should be given an extended run in the midfield. He has a CANNON of a kick, he surely must play next week along with Gore and Gay.
Hartlett,Keough,Delahunty,Park and Walters didn’t play.

I would also give Kobe Ryan more time in the midfield. When you have Allan,Squire and Fairlie in the centre they are all the same time of player, we need to mix it up more.

I thought Mitch Maguire played a good game along with Cleeland and Brand.

It was our first trial so hopefully we improve next week
